Mental and Physical Health Counseling Service

The JERA Health Insurance Society provides a Mental and Physical Health Counseling Service, which includes a health counseling service that is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can be used to address problems or concerns related to the health or medical care of yourself or your family, as well as arranging for second opinions in the case of serious illnesses or introducing specialists recommended or selected by doctors.
We are careful to always protect privacy, and no counseling or call fees will be charged, so please do not hesitate to use this service.

Usage information

Eligible members This service can be used by insured persons who are members of the JERA Health Insurance Society and their dependent family members as well as spouses who are not enrolled in the JERA Health Insurance Society and their dependents.

Counseling and call fees No counseling or call fees will be charged.
Privacy We are careful to always protect privacy, and the usage details will not be reported to your company or to the JERA Health Insurance Society, so please do not hesitate to use this service.

*Note that this excludes cases where T-PEC CORPORATION, the contractor, determines that there is a threat to life or that such protection exceeds the reasonable limits of confidentiality.

Mental Health Counseling Service

Through this service, our psychological counselors respond to problems or concerns related to mental health. Counseling can be provided face-to-face, through online interviews, on the web, or by telephone.

    (around 50 minutes per session and up to five sessions per person per year)
    • *In general, it is necessary to choose the usage style you prefer upon your first session, and the usage style cannot be changed.

Specialist Telephone Counseling Service

Through this service, our health counselors can make an appointment for you to talk to a suitable specialist on the phone in cases where you do not necessarily need a referral letter and a second opinion but would still like to talk to someone other than your primary doctor.
